Shannon P. Curry: Hi Everybody! Welcome to my Blog! I hope you enjoy your visit. I was born and raised in CT and moved to New York in 1997 after being accepted to the Fashion Institute of Technology upon completing 2 years of study @ the University of Bridgeport for Fashion Merchandising Management. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Intl. Trade & Marketing & an Associate's Degree in Patternmaking Technology w/a specialization in Coats & Suits and Cut & Sew Knits. In 1998, I stepped out to follow my long life dream of pursuing a career in fashion by designing & presenting my own line in a fashion show in my hometown. Since that time, I have centered my professional career around Intimate Apparel & as Sr. Technical Designer for a Licensee for Ralph Lauren. I soon after officially launched my own business, Soul Collections, as Sole Proprietor in 2003 specializing in a line of seasonal Women's Outerwear Jackets. However, my vision for Soul Collections is not just limited to jackets, but a Collection of Fashion Related Courses offering training and skills for women for the betterment of life. I love what I do!
